we learn that vardaman is a very random character his emotions switch almost instantly all the time and hes a very emotional person , he also seems very simple minded by the way that he speaks and the forms of his sentences, Hes the youngest out of all the children so he might not be as smart as the others just because of his age. He seems to always believe that someone is always an animal for example he believes his mom is a fish he doesnt compare them.
